Relative Stability of High Explosive Free-Radical Configurations.

摘要

The relative stability of the larger free radicals formed by proton abstraction (or single-atom abstraction) from 12representative high explosive molecules using the general principles of free radical chemistry is estimated. The order of the relative stability of the radicals correlates reasonably well with the order of the shock insensitivity of the explosives. (ERA citation 04:024455)
