摘要

In a calculation a simple extrapolation through interstellar medium is made of the cosmic ray nitrogen composition according to the slab model. The partial cross sections at E=300 MeV/n for oxygen and nitrogen colliding with interstellar hydrogen are varied within a factor of 5. The effect on the nitrogen isotopic quotient exp 15 N/( exp 14 N + exp 15 N) is large in some cases. (Atomindex citation 10:434906)
