Progress is reported on weld deposition techniques, inspection, and testing of single and double overlays of Inconel filler metal 72 on types 304 and 310 stainless steels. Tables of welding parameters, Vickers hardness of welded specimens, tensile test results, side bend test results, and microprobe analysis results, are presented. (ERA citation 03:045004)
