Photoferroelectric Image Storage in Antiferroelectric Phase PLZT Ceramics

摘要

A new photoferroelectric effect which involves a photoassisted, field-induced antifenoelectric-to-ferroelectric phase transition is used to store nonvolatile grayscale images in PLZT ceramics. Stored images exhibit ex¬ceptionally high contrast and approximately linear grayscale reproduction.
