Preliminary nu-bar Covariances for 238,242PU and 242,244,245CM

This report presents a set of preliminary nu-bar covariances for the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency, Working Party on International Nuclear Data Evaluation Co-operatin (WPEC) Subgroup 26. Following the proposal by P. Finck, ANL (now INL), SG26 'Nuclear Data Needs for Advanced Reactor Systems' has been established in 2005. Its charge is to identify nuclear data needs for advanced nuclear power reactors (Gen-IV) using sensitivity analysis. To this end, a considerable amount of covariance is needed. SG26, chaired by M. Salvatores, CEA Cadarache and ANL prepared a list of materials relevant to its charge. When translated into the list of isotopes, it consists of 19 actinides and 33 structural, coolant and moderator materials. SG26 is interested in nu-bar covariances for 19 actinides. These covariances should be provided in the 15-group representation, from the thermal energy up to 20 MeV.
