We compute the differential and total Thomson scattering cross sections in a fully ionized plasma with a strong magnetic field, and discuss its polarization dependence. Approximate expressions for the cross sections in the quasi-longitudinal and quasi-transverse propagation approximation are given. (Atomindex citation 10:419495)
