摘要

A method is suggested to identify the quasielastic mechanism of knock-out reactions in the case of strong interactions in the initial and final states. The method is based on a simple dependence of the effective polarization of the particle being knocked out upon its total momentum. The available theoretical and experimental results are critically discussed. Formulas are found to calculate the asymmetry in reactions on polarized targets and polarization of residual nuclei in the representation of the total momentum of the knocked-out particle. The formulas are applicable to the pole mechanism as well as to any other mechanism in which the particle being knocked out becomes effectively polarized. (Atomindex citation 10:486247)
