Bounded Energy Approximation to an Unstable Quantum System

摘要

An approximation using the so-called bounded energy states is studied within the framework of general kinematical concept of unstable quantum systems. Approximations of a clear physical meaning are obtained for the state space, reduced evolution operator, decay laws and other characteristics of the unstable system. The results show that the well-known troubles with the Weisskopf-Wigner semigroup condition are not essential. (Atomindex citation 10:474442)
