Enhanced and Suppressed Two-and Three-Body Nonleptonic Decays of Charmed Mesons.

The relations are obtained between widths of various two-and three-body nonleptonic decays of charmed D,F mesons. These relations follow from the SU(3)-symmetry of the weak Hamiltonian and quark diagrams. Taking as an input the existing experimental data, all branching ratios of nonleptonic decay modes of considered types are estimated. We predict comparatively large branching rations up to 10% (1-2%) for a few definite modes with delta S=-1 ( delta S=0) into three pseudoscalar mesons in the totally symmetrical state and both vector mesons and pseudoscalar mesons. The striking violation of Cabibbo hierarchy is also predicted when some of the modes with delta S=0 turn out to have more larger branching ratios than many of those with delta S=-1.
