This report describes the data needs of the DOE in the Pipeline area and how those needs are fulfilled by the information gathered on Form P. Chapter I provides an introduction to the methodology used in preparing the report, and background statements on Form P and on oil pipeline data. Chapter II defines the functional requirements of organizations/agencies which use pipeline information; Chapter III presents the data requirements for these same agencies; Chapter IV discusses publication requirements and formats for Form P data; and Chapter V summarizes conclusions and recommendations.
