Methods for Prediction of Strong Earthquake Ground Motion

This report represents the work on characterization of strong earthquake ground motion for use in seismic risk studies, development of modern standards and regulatory guides, reevaluation of existing sites and for the development of site specific criteria for earthquake resistant design. The detailed theoretical analyses, data handling methods computer programs, etc., are presented in a series of appendices mentioned throughout the summary text.
