Influence of the Modelisation on Transient Two Phase Flow Behaviour. Study Performed with the TRITON Computer Code

The TRITON computer modulus which is introduced in the POSEIDON system code for safety analysis is presented. It is an axial code which solves the six partial differential equations of a two fluid model. In the second part of this paper, a study, performed with TRITON, is presented on the influence of the two main desequilibrium (liquid temperature desequilibrium, and drift velocity) of a two phase flow, on transient behaviour.
