The methodology described has uncovered a number of problems with the application of conventional techniques to the sampling,preservation,and analysis of aqueous coal gasification wastes in general and Hygas product gas quench condensate in particular. Specific conclusions and recommendations in light of the evidence from Hygas condensate analysis are given. (ERA citation 04:028737)
