摘要

The subsidence of linearly elastic strata above shallow mine drifts is studied by using centrifuge simulation techniques and finite-element calculational techniques. The centrifuge simulations, conducted on a 6 ft radius machine, examined six configurations in jointed and unjointed structures of foundry stone and ashfall tuff. Two of these configurations are analyzed numerically. (ERA citation 04:035656)
