In Vitro Radioassays for Thyroid Diseases Analysis

摘要

Some technical aspects of the current and less current tests for thyroid function evaluation and for immunological and cancerous thyroid diseases, were reviewed. This large review was done to confirm that at present, nearly all the parameters playing a role in thyroid disease are measured by RIA technique with an acceptable precision and specificity. It is now possible to study a particular problem of thyroid with a particular assay. The review was illustrated by a certain number of precision profile which are, in our opinion, one of the most important informations to have before adopting a technique. It allows to appreciate what can be obtained -and cannot be obtained- as a reliable response. (Atomindex citation 11:554957)
