Preliminary Archaeological Survey of a Proposed Gas Well Location on Presque Isle State Park, Erie County, Pennsylvania

An archaeological survey and a cultural resource assessment were conducted in an area to be disturbed by gas well drilling. The project area is located on the Presque Isle State Park which comprises approximately 3,202 acres in Erie County, Pennsylvania. No evidence of archaeological or historic significance was found at the proposed well site. (ERA citation 05:006471)
