Vacuum fluctuation effects in QCD due to instantons are considered in dense neutron star matter. In the density region of insterest to neutron star cores we find a density dependens approximately nsub(B)sup(-1/3), in contrast to a result by Shuryak, approximately nsub(B)sup.
