''Mode Locking'' of Plasma Helical Instability in a Tokamak

Considerations are presented concerning a possible mechanism of ''mode locking'' of plasma helical instability in a tokamak by an external alternating magnetic field. Frequency dependence of ''locking'' threshold, phase and amplitudes of ''locked'' mode are calculated for a model of a driven wave with a mixed amplitude. (ERA citation 10:045821)
