A revised detailed work plan for the new subtask - Licensing Assessment of Extended Burnup Fuel - has been prepared. The major revision is the inclusion of gadolinium-bearing fuel in this assessment, as a desirable alternative to burnable poison in low leakage fuel management. The data for end-of-cycle stretchout originally reported in the May 1979 Monthly Project Status Letter (SPE-Th-95) has been revised to reflect operational limitations imposed by turbine manufacturers when feedwater heaters are removed from service.
