Pilot Plant Investigation of Mercury Retention in Bay Filters Applied to Coal Fired Boilers. First Report

It has been formerly reported (from one single source), that the small amount of mercury present in flue gases from coal firing can be collected with considerable success in an ordinary bag filter. In order to further investigate this effect, the performance in this respect of a small pilot bag filter is investigated. The first measurements show encouraging results. (ERA citation 07:056722)
