Volume 1 contains summaries of those analyses, basically written in the past tense to signify a reporting of prior work. Volume XI consists of appendices containing detailed information of those analyses as a backup to the summary descriptions. In the main, the detailed descriptions in this volume have been developed from excerpts from internal memoranda that were prepared at the time the analyses were performed to provide necessary documentation thereof. In many cases the discussions are written in the present tense--a result of quoting material developed at the time the analyses were performed some being of the order of two years old.
