The reduction of pertechnetate with formamidine sulphinic acid in the absence of added ligands was found to be accompanied by complex formation. This complex showed a non-specific animal distribution. The complex produced during the reduction competed effectively with added complexing agents. (Atomindex citation 11:569099)
