An investigation is presented of the fluid dynamical effects in the piping system of the sodium heat transfer system. This concerns pump power failure, valve closure/opening, receiver rupture, dry running of the receiver, and preliminary evaluations of pump speed and gate opening. (ERA citation 07:049764)
