Qualification of the MAN-Solarfarm-Module of the Type 3/32 as Part of a Demonstration Program. Final Report

Based on the first prototype the module was further developed and two new prototypes produced. Optimization of the structure, the collectors, and piping systems is described. Development of tracking electronics, testing and qualification of components, testing of the component assembly concept, and mechanical and thermal testing of the complete module are described. Actions to achieve higher efficiency and to reduce production costs, and application of alternative mirror elements are discussed. (ERA citation 06:013630)
