摘要

Two independent shutdown systems with different design characteristics will be installed in the SNR-300. The first shutdown unit also controls the reactor. It consists of a rigid absorber and operates due to gravity from top downward into the core. The second shutdown unit each is composed of three articulated absorbers installed beneath the core and pulled up into the core by acceleration springs. To support the design of the absorbers of the two shutdown units the pressure losses, the mass flow distributions and the floating characteristics have been investigated experimentally in water flow.
