摘要

The crystal structure of hexakisdimethylurea iron (III) perchlorate, (Fe(dmu) sub 6 )(ClO sub 4 ) sub 3 , has been performed by x-ray diffraction analysis. The complex crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/c with a = 16.269(2), b = 19.109(2), c = 13.253(2), beta = 94.96(5) exp 0 , z = 4. It consists of discrete (Fe(dmu) sub 6 ) exp 3+ and ClO sub 4- ions. The iron atom is co-ordinated to six oxygens (Fe-O = 1.989, 1.993 and 2.023 A) in a nearly octahedral way. An iterative extended Hueckel-model study has been carried out to rationalize the Moessbauer parameters of some iron (III) complexes with urea type ligands. 2 figures, 6 tables.
