Influence of Fuel Variables on the Operation of Automotive Open and Pre-Chamber Diesel and Spark Ignited Stratified Charge Engines: A Literature Study Covering Petroleum and Syncrude Derived Fuels

摘要

A literature study has been carried out to ascertain the influence of fuels and fuel variables on the operation of automotive diesel and spark ignited stratified charge engines with a view to understanding the impact of future fuels derived from Syncrude. The findings from the search are presented and discussed in detail, conclusions reached and recommendations made. (ERA citation 06:032207)
