Alpha-Decay Half-Lives of Neutron-Deficient Trans-Tin Isotopes

The alpha -activity of the new neutron deficient nuclei Te, I, Xe, Cs and Ba is studied by using the methods of the unified theory of nuclear reactions. A new one body width fomula is proposed for describing the alpha -decay as a special case of nuclear resonant reactions. The calculated alpha -decay data are compared with current experimental data and previous predictions for alpha - half-lives and branching ratios. (ERA citation 08:019175)
