Gotland - Skaane Pibal Project for WECS Siting. Pt. B: Evaluation

An attempt is made to analyze the result from the pilot balloon campaigns made during the Gotland-Skaane pilot balloon. A simple statistical model has been used to calculate the climatological differences in wind speed at a height of 100 m at the measuring sites. Some calculations, of the heights where changes in the surface roughness can cause layers with rapidly changing wind shear, have also been performed. (ERA citation 07:043187)
