摘要

The development of techniques to study thermionic emission of chemical reactions between aluminum and refractory metals of the transition groups and also with their oxides is described. When heated, these systems may be considered as systems comprised of an emitter (refractory metal, oxide) and aluminum particles adsorbed on the emitter surface. The experiments were carried out in a special furnace with an intermediate vacuum of 10 exp -2 -10 exp -3 mm Hg. Heating was accomplished at a rate of 10 deg/min up to 1100 exp 0 C.
