摘要

Using new data on the unpolarized differential cross section for the reaction pp implies pi d, obtained by the NESIKA collaboration at SIN, the energy dependence of the anisotropy parameters gamma sub 0 , gamma sub 2 , and gamma sub 4 is interpreted phenomenologically. Especially the energy dependence of gamma sub 4 , which is stronger than predicted theoretically, could be understood as being due to the behaviour of a production amplitude with lsub( pi ) = 3 near threshold.
