Phenomenological Model for Cabibbo Favoured Charmed Meson Decays into Three Pseudoscalors: Psub(C) Implies PPP.

A phenomenological model for Cabibbo favoured charmed meson decays is constructed which alows for non-charmed intermediate scalar and vector meson contributions. In all, twenty five modes permitted by the model are considered. The model depends upon a single free parameter. Quite reasonable consistency with present branching ratio data is obtained and it is found that for a few modes large scalar contributions could be present. Finally the resulting predictions on the twenty five modes are given and also results concerning the ratio UPSILON(D exp 0 )/ UPSILON(D exp + ) are obtained. (Atomindex citation 12:603764)
