Small Break Loss-of-Coolant Accident Analyses in LWRs Conference Papers

This report contains the papers presented at an American Nuclear Society Specialists Meeting on Small Break Loss-of-Coolant Accidents in Light Water Reactors that was held in Monterey, California, on August 25 to 27, 1981. The major financial sponsors of the meeting were the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and EPRI. The 60 papers presented represent a review of the current status of the technical issues surrounding the postulated small break loss-of-coolant accident, including recent NRC regulations, industry response, phenomena modeling, computer analyses, and experimental testing programs. These papers include reports from government, industry, and utility agencies;national laboratories;and seven foreign countries.
