摘要

The stability condition of the cranked HFB field is examined explicitly by solving the eigen value equation for the second order variation of the energy, which is reduced to an algebraic equation through a coupled dispersion formula. We confirm that the HFB field is unstable in the backbending region of irregular rotational band, even though the frequency of the softest RPA mode stays in positive value. We investigate properties of the softest mode in detail. (Atomindex citation 14:722990)
