Minicomputer and Computer Numerical Control Maintenance

The acquisition of large numbers of computers and precision computer numerical controlled machines, combined with a rapidly changing technology, have imposed difficult requirements on the Electrical and Electronics Maintenance Department. This paper discusses the equipment to be maintained, the personnel who perform the maintenance activities, the techniques utilized, the support requirements, and future trends in equipment and maintenance techniques.
