摘要

Calculations for the dry out phase of the TMI-2 incident (114 min to 174 min) were performed with the program TMIBOIL and the program systems SSYST, EXMEL and MELSIM2. Similar calculations were performed for a German reactor of type Biblis using the same set of thermohydraulic boundary conditions. TMIBOIL predicts a completely destroyed core EXMEL and MELSIM2 predict for both reactors the beginning of the melting process. However the reactors remain coolable. (ERA citation 08:007614)
