Carrier Signal Technology Applied to Solar Collector Field Control

The development and operational performance are described of a control system designed specifically for solar distributed collector field systems. Carrier technology is employed to eliminate costly field constructed control wiring and allows the control system quality to be controlled at system suppliers' plants. Prototype hardware has been built and tested in the field with excellent operating results. (ERA citation 07:003721)
