Hadron Structure Functions.

摘要

The x dependence of hadron structure functions is investigated. If quarks can exist in very low mass states (10 MeV for d and u quarks) the pion structure function is predicted to behave like (1-x) and not (1-x) exp 2 in a x-region around 1. Relativistic and non-relativistic quark bound state pictures of hadrons are considered together with their relation with the Q exp 2 evolution of structure functions. Good agreement with data is in general obtained. (Atomindex citation 12:633993)
