摘要

The effects of nearest neighbour central and non-central force-constant-changes produced by Hf, Ta and W impurities on the lattice specific heat and transition temperature of V have been studied by using the low-concentration Green's function theory. The force-constant-changes have been evaluated by fitting the measured phonon heat capacity of these systems. It is observed that if the force-constants for heavy impurity (Hf) change weakly, Tsub(c) increases slightly and if the changes are strong Tsub(c) is lowered (V:Ta,W). The electron-phonon interaction as well as electron-impurity scattering are discussed in detail. (Atomindex citation 14:735510)
