Minidoka - Cassia County Energy Planning Program: Final Report

The Association of Idaho Cities (ATC) received a grant from BPA to provide energy planning and technical assistance services to the thirteen municipal and cooperative utilities in Cassia and Minidoka Counties, Idaho. The Association's program goals included: development of energy resource and conservation data for each utility/city; development of community awareness in energy conservation and resource development; development of at least one energy project to be undertaken by the utility or community; and development of an action plan and public involvement program to insure that whatever was agreed upon by the utility or community and its decision-making board was supportable and had an even chance for success. This report describes the tasks originally agreed upon, those which were achieved, those which were not, reasons for non-attainment when applicable, and AIC's recommendations for additional programs of this type.
