Catalog of Low-Reynolds-Number Airfoil Data for Wind-Turbine Applications

摘要

A literature survey was performed to acquire airfoil data at low Reynolds numbers which would be applicable to small wind energy conversion systems. The data were screened and the most reliable compiled into a catalog. Each entry includes airfoil coordinates, lift, drag and pitching moment characteristics in both graphical and tabular form. A discussion in elementary terms is given concerning airfoil behavior and the effects of Reynolds number, surface roughness and turbulence. (ERA citation 07:059458)
