摘要

This scintillator telescope was designed to detect pions in a very intense background of charged particles and to identify pion charge in the 15-90 MeV energy range. In order to improve the charge identification of pions a new approach is used; the method exposed in this paper is based on the measurement of the particle pulses within different time gates.
