This is one of a series of seven reports which describe a study of nuclear material licensing conducted for the Office of Nuclear Regulatory Materials Safety and Safeguards, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). The purposes of this project are to analyze the process used by NRC to license nuclear materials, and based upon this analysis to recommend measures to improve the efficiency of such license application review. This report describes the trial use of a preprinted license renewal form to reduce processing time.
