Short-circuit tests were performed on twenty-seven cable constructions incorporating two basic shield designs and a number of commonly used insulation shield and jacket compounds. Cables were tested unaged, aged to simulate normal and emergency operating conditions and in straight and bent configurations. (ERA citation 08:038892)
