Structures were determined of the complexes which form when the uranyl ion is extracted from nitric acid solutions with organophosphorus reagents: UO sub 2 (TBPO) sub 2 (NO sub 3 ) sub 2 , UO sub 2 (TiBP) sub 2 (NO sub 3 ) sub 2 , UO sub 2 (DBP) sub 2 , and UO sub 2 (DBP)(TBPO)NO sub 3 .
