University of California Participation in the CIRP Round Robin of Residual-Stress Measurement

The University of California, Davis, in conjunction with the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory has participated in an international round robin testing program for residual stress measurement by x-ray diffraction. The comparative results among five participating laboratories were quite good with scatter in the data being less than +- 10%. (ERA citation 08:044443)
