Method in the Generation of a Real-Time Interactive Display

This paper describes a real-time/interactive display which parallels the dynamic alteration of variables found in an analog computer. The program consists of interactive/display routines and a preprocessor that links any number of variables, found in program common, with a standard video terminal. The simulation state is displayed in tabular format and control commands are entered via the keyboard. The program represents a minimal computer burden and provides real-time data transfer. We believe the new program provides a low-cost method for producing digital simulations which operate very similarly to real processes, and its ease in implementation make it a useful part of any program.
