A 350 kW concentrator photovoltaic system has been developed in Saudi Arabia. This system is described, both as an overall facility and for the major components related to solar energy collection, conversion, storage, and delivery. Components include the array subsystem, power conditioning, and energy storage. The theory of operation is discussed for the system, as well as system control and data acquisition and solar data collection. The plan for compiling data to evaluate the system's performance is given. (ERA citation 11:019516)
