Comparative Study of Legal Limits of Safety Requirements for Nuclear Installations

摘要

This paper makes a detailed analysis of safety philosophies and principles of radiological protection at international and national levels according to a standardised plan for purposes of comparison. It describes the relevant regulations of the IAEA, OECD/NEA and Euratom and those of the US, UK, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the Federal Republic of Germany. The author points out that the ICRP recommendations are the guidelines in the radiation protection field. (Atomindex citation 16:015304)
