Evaluating Word-Processing Systems.

摘要

An overview is given on how to evaluate word-processing systems running on small computers and central processors, or as stand-alone systems. Software is compared, and details are given on features the author feels are important in any word processing system, both stand-alones and on computer systems. The paper deals with screen-oriented systems only, and does not cover memory or intelligent typewriters. Also, a brief account is given on how word processing can be used in the records management environment. (ERA citation 08:038296)
